Tucker Kraft returns to Packers training camp after ACL injury

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has returned to full participation in training camp following an ACL injury that ended his 2025 season. Kraft recently rejoined 11-on-11 drills after being activated from the physically unable to perform list in July.

During a recent practice, Kraft demonstrated his physical presence by delivering a hard hit on teammate Zaire Franklin, leading to a brief verbal exchange between the two. Kraft’s return comes after a productive period prior to his injury, where he recorded 32 receptions for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight games during the 2025 season.

As Kraft regains his form, discussions regarding his long-term future with the team have emerged. General manager Brian Gutekunst noted that Kraft’s return to team drills was not a prerequisite for contract negotiations, though the player's high statistical output has led to calls for a significant contract extension.
