Tucumán authorities investigate alleged Uber kidnapping attempt

Authorities in San Miguel de Tucumán are investigating an alleged attempted kidnapping involving an Uber driver. The victim, the daughter of provincial Addictions Secretary Lucas Haurigot Posse, reported that she began feeling unwell after noticing a strange odor inside the vehicle during a trip from the Faculty of Psychology.

According to the complaint, the passenger requested that the driver stop the vehicle, but the driver allegedly refused. The young woman was eventually able to exit the car when the vehicle stopped at a red light. The case has been referred to the Complex Crimes Prosecutor's Office for investigation.
