Tucumán court acquits three doctors in pediatric death case
A court in Tucumán has acquitted three doctors involved in the death of 8-year-old Matías Juárez. The boy died approximately four days after undergoing a scheduled tonsillectomy at a private clinic nearly ten years ago.
According to the family, the child appeared to be in stable condition before the surgery, and previous studies showed no complications. However, his health deteriorated rapidly following the procedure. His mother, María Luna, expressed profound distress over the verdict and announced her intention to appeal, criticizing the role of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the investigation process.
