Tucumán water infrastructure: El Cadillal Aqueduct valve renovation underway

Governor Osvaldo Jaldo has supervised infrastructure works at the Agua Muñecas Water Treatment Plant to modernize the water distribution system in Tucumán. The project involves a comprehensive replacement of valves in the El Cadillal Aqueduct, which receive water from the Celestino Gelsi Dam.

These new valves, being replaced for the first time in 35 years, incorporate advanced technology to improve system control, specifically regarding water pressure and chlorine levels. The initiative also includes the integration of new machinery and technology to strengthen the province's potable water supply.

Additional water infrastructure interventions mentioned include the recovery of the La Niña reservoir and works conducted at dam number 3 of the Celestino Gelsi reservoir.
