Tucumán Health Minister attends mental health update session

Public Health Minister Luis Medina Ruiz participated in a mental health update session organized by the Tucumán Psychiatry Society in Tafí Viejo. The event included provincial Mental Health Director Mónica González and various psychiatric specialists.

Discussions focused on advancements in psychopharmacology and new therapeutic treatments. Minister Medina Ruiz emphasized that mental health is a global issue influenced by economic uncertainty, social conflict, and inequality. He noted that the provincial health team is prepared to provide comprehensive care that extends beyond pharmacological treatments to include broader strategies for emotional well-being.

According to Mónica González, the session aims to strengthen professional training and provide access to new therapeutic tools and knowledge.
