Tucumán launches plan to transform Campo Norte into green space

The Tucumán government has launched a project to transform the 25-hectare Campo Norte site into a major urban green space. Managed by the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport, the initiative aims to revitalize the previously neglected area for sports, recreation, and cultural activities.

Initial works include comprehensive cleaning, weeding, and the installation of 48 LED lights to improve security and visibility. The plan, coordinated under Governor Osvaldo Jaldo, also involves restoring internal roads and incorporating native plant species to enhance the environmental profile of the site. Minister Marcelo Nazur stated that the project is a progressive effort to return the area to the community as a safe meeting point.
