Tucumán launches volunteer training for end-of-life care

In Tucumán, the Ministry of Public Health has implemented a training program for volunteers of the Pastoral de la Salud. The initiative aims to provide tools for the integral accompaniment of patients in the final stages of life and their families.

The training, which was opened to the entire community of Tucumán, consists of five sessions covering topics such as palliative care, active listening, anticipatory grief, and palliative sedation. Specialists lead the sessions to ensure volunteers can support vulnerable individuals with respect and professional knowledge.
