Tucumán leads Argentine provinces in employment growth

The province of Tucumán has led employment growth among Argentine provinces, recording an 8.3% increase in jobs over the last three years. This figure places the jurisdiction first among the five provinces that saw job increases during this period.

Governor Osvaldo Jaldo attributed this growth to the coordination between the state and the private sector. He emphasized a management strategy focused on strengthening productive activities by linking provincial, municipal, and communal governments with regional economies, such as the citrus and sugarcane industries.

Jaldo also noted that the continuation of public works projects helped sustain employment levels despite a complex economic environment. The provincial administration utilized international, national, and provincial financing to advance these initiatives.
