Tucumán officials meet with Italian Ambassador-designate

Miguel Acevedo, the Vice Governor of Tucumán acting as head of the Executive Power, received the designated Italian Ambassador to Argentina, Fabrizio Nicoletti, at the Government House. The institutional visit aimed to strengthen cooperation agendas and historical ties between the province and Italy.

During the meeting, Acevedo highlighted the province's productive, economic, and cultural potential, noting that a large portion of the local community is of Italian descent. He presented Tucumán as a hub for investment and development, specifically mentioning opportunities to expand exports of fresh lemons and lemon derivatives. The discussions also covered cultural links and academic exchanges between universities.
