Tucumán representative selected for Slow Food training in Italy

Ana Cristina Nores, a representative of the Ruta del Vino en Altura, has been selected as a fellow for an international training program organized by Slow Food. The program will take place during the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026 in Turin, Italy, from September 24 to 27.

Tucumán is the only Argentine province selected to participate in this international event, which focuses on sustainable food, biodiversity, and gastronomic culture. The training is fully funded by the organization, covering all stay and participation expenses.

Officials from the Tucumán Tourism Board (ETT) noted that the participation aims to bring global knowledge and tools back to the province to support new local projects. The delegation intends to showcase regional products, specifically wine and cheeses, to an international audience representing over 100 countries.
