Tucumán sanitary aircraft conducts patient transfers

A provincial sanitary aircraft in Tucumán completed two medical transfers on Friday, October 30, to ensure specialized care for patients.

The first operation involved transporting a 15-year-old adolescent from Hospital del Niño Jesús to Hospital Garrahan in Buenos Aires. The patient, diagnosed with osteosarcoma and pulmonary metastasis, required oxygen via nasal cannula and analgesic assistance during the flight.

The second operation involved returning a 19-year-old patient from Neuquén to Tucumán. The individual, who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury following a fall from a height, was stabilized and transferred to the Hospital Regional de Concepción for continued treatment.

Dr. Patricia Villagra, Director of Transfers, provided details on the clinical conditions of both patients during the flights, noting that both remained stable during transit.
