Tucumán to host Digital Communication Congress 2026

San Miguel de Tucumán will host the Digital Communication Congress 2026 on October 8 and 9 at the Teatro Municipal Rosita Ávila. Under the theme ‘Algorithms & Narratives: how to speak the language of today in hyper-fragmented environments’, the event will bring together journalists, consultants, academics, and government officials.

The congress will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence, social media, and new technologies on political communication. Key topics include digital crisis management, fake news, coordinated attacks, electoral campaigns, and government communication. Discussions will also cover strategies for connecting with Generation Z and Alpha, the use of WhatsApp in politics, and how public administration can use data analysis to anticipate citizen demands.

The opening ceremony will feature San Miguel de Tucumán Mayor Rossana Chahla, Vice Governor Miguel Acevedo, and directors from Enter Comunicación, Malena Dip and Pablo Pérez Paladino. Invited specialists include Liliana Parodi, Iván Liska, Agustina Girón, and Opy Morales.
