Tucumán woman repatriated from Bolivia after severe accident

Soledad Figueroa, a 28-year-old woman from Tucumán, has been medically repatriated from Cochabamba, Bolivia, to Argentina. Figueroa had been in Bolivia for work when she suffered a severe accident involving a fall from a fourth-floor building, resulting in multiple fractures and a lung perforation.

After undergoing surgery and remaining in Bolivia for three months, she was unable to return by her own means. The Ministry of Public Health of Tucumán, led by Minister Luis Medina Ruiz and supported by Governor Osvaldo Jaldo, managed the sanitary transfer. Figueroa arrived in Tucumán in the early morning hours accompanied by her mother and son. She has been admitted to the Eva Perón Hospital to continue her medical recovery.
