Tudela Local Police history exhibition opens at Marqués de Huarte Palace

The Tudela City Council has inaugurated an exhibition titled ‘Una ciudad, una historia, una policía’ at the Marqués de Huarte Palace. The showcase traces the historical trajectory of the Tudela Local Police, featuring a selection of items from a collection that exceeds 10,000 objects.

On display are historical documents, photographs, uniforms, and various artifacts that illustrate the evolution of the force, from the late 19th-century constables to the modern local police. The exhibition also provides insight into the social and organizational changes within the city of Tudela over the decades.

The collection originated in the 1980s, sparked by police officers exchanging patches and caps during international futsal competitions. The exhibition is organized jointly by the Municipal Archive and the Local Police and will remain open to the public until October 15.
