Tudela pedestrian accident leads to driver license penalty

A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a car while using a pedestrian crossing in Tudela. The incident occurred on Avenida de las Merindades around 9:00 AM. Although the driver attempted to brake suddenly to avoid the impact, the vehicle hit the pedestrian, which subsequently caused a second vehicle to collide with the first.

Local police determined that the driver failed to respect the pedestrian's right of way. As a result, the driver has been issued a serious administrative complaint, leading to the removal of four points from their driver's license. The victim's injuries were initially reported as not being life-threatening.
