Tudela: Three individuals rob 91-year-old woman of cash and jewelry

A 91-year-old woman in Tudela was targeted in a sophisticated scam that resulted in the theft of 4,000 euros in cash and various pieces of jewelry from her home. The incident occurred over a weekend near the local bullring.

The perpetrators used a deceptive tactic to gain access to the victim's residence. The scheme began when a man approximately 40 years old approached the woman, who uses a walker, while feigning a disability. He claimed to have found a package containing numerous 50-euro notes. Shortly after, two other individuals posing as a passing couple joined the interaction. The group successfully convinced the elderly woman to let them into her home, where they stole the money and jewelry.

The victim discovered the theft after realizing the items were missing and alerted her son, who then contacted the authorities. The Tudela Local Police reported the incident as part of their weekend activity logs. The case has been handed over to the Policía Foral de Navarra, which is currently conducting an investigation to identify the suspects.
