Tuesday Labs opens reservations for Voxel home robot

Tuesday Labs has begun accepting $200 refundable reservations for its Voxel Series-1 home robot in the United States. The reservation secures an opportunity to purchase from an initial production run ahead of a planned 2028 rollout. The company estimates the robot will cost approximately $20,000.

Designed as a household assistant, the Voxel 1 is intended to perform tasks such as putting objects away, watering plants, sweeping up spills, and retrieving items like keys or drinks. The robot features two Z-shaped legs, arms with seven degrees of freedom, and grippers with one degree of freedom. It utilizes stereo RGB cameras and a sensor array for navigation and vision.

Unlike previous robotic models that relied on remote telepresence, the Voxel 1 is designed to be controlled primarily via voice commands and an artificial intelligence system that handles navigation and command responses. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2028, subject to Federal Communications Commission equipment authorization and potential regional limitations.
