TUI Airways launches first direct flight from Prague to Phu Quoc

TUI Airways has inaugurated its first direct flight service to Phu Quoc International Airport, connecting the Vietnamese island with the European market. On October 26, flight BY424, operated by a Boeing 787 carrying 304 passengers, arrived from Prague, Czech Republic.

The arrival was marked by a traditional water cannon salute at the airport. This new route is part of an ongoing effort to expand Phu Quoc’s international aviation network. Recent and upcoming expansions include new connections to Asian destinations such as Taipei, Chengdu, Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur, as well as planned direct routes to Moscow via Aeroflot and Sun PhuQuoc Airways.
