TUI Cruises launches new Mein Schiff Flow cruise ship with inaugural sailing from Trieste
TUI Cruises introduced its second InTUItion‑class vessel, the Mein Schiff Flow, in a ceremony in Trieste. The ship, capable of carrying nearly 4,000 passengers, features expansive balconies, 14 restaurants, 17 bars, a large spa, multiple pools and a new mascot named Finni. For the first time the line appointed three patronesses – Julia, Annabelle and Karin – to sponsor the ship, replacing the usual single patron model.
The newly christened vessel made its first port call on 28 June in Civitavecña, Italy, near Rome, where guests could embark on excursions to the capital. The ship joined three other cruise liners in the busy harbour, and will continue a Mediterranean itinerary that includes stops in Ajaccio (Corsica), Marseille (France) and a return to Palma de Mallorca before heading to Morocco on a subsequent voyage.
