TUI Cruises' Mein Schiff Flow inaugurated in Trieste, first visit to Koper

On 20 June 2026 the cruise ship Mein Schiff Flow was officially inaugurated in Trieste, Italy. The vessel arrived at Molo Bersaglieri at 08:00, was moored alongside Mein Schiff 4, and a ceremony featuring a bottle‑breaking and fireworks from Molo Audace took place later in the evening. Marco Consalvo, president of the Eastern Adriatic Sea Port Authority, said, “We are deeply honored that TUI Cruises chose Trieste for an event of this magnitude,” while Alberto Grimaldi, CEO of Trieste Terminal Passeggeri, added that early dialogues with the company led to the celebration. The ship, built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone, displaces 160 000 gross tons, can carry about 4 000 passengers and runs on an LNG dual‑fuel system designed to lower emissions.

A few days later Mein Schiff Flow made its first port call in Koper, Slovenia, marking the vessel’s debut in that Adriatic harbour. The visit was highlighted by local tourism officials as a boost for regional cruise traffic.
