TUI Norge reports surge in autumn holiday bookings

Travel bookings for the autumn holidays are increasing significantly in Norway, particularly from Trondheim and Bergen. According to TUI Norge, bookings from Trondheim have tripled compared to the same period last year, while Bergen has seen a twofold increase.

Anne Mørk-Løwengreen, communications manager at TUI Norge, attributes this surge to poor summer weather, noting that travelers are looking to replace raincoats with swimwear. Mallorca remains the top destination for travelers from Trondheim, while Turkey is seeing a strong comeback among those traveling from Bergen. Other popular destinations include Gran Canaria, Croatia, Rhodes, Crete, Cyprus, and Albania.
