TUI River Cruises to launch Seine river itineraries with TUI Elara

TUI River Cruises has announced the expansion of its fleet to include the TUI Elara, a 110-meter vessel specifically designed for the Seine river. Scheduled to join the fleet in March 2027, the adult-only ship will begin offering itineraries on the Seine starting March 20, 2028.

The vessel will accommodate 138 passengers across 70 cabins and will provide four, seven, and 10-night journeys through northern France. Routes will include Paris, Vernon, Rouen, and Le Havre, with excursions covering historical sites such as the Normandy D-Day landing beaches.

Katy Berzins, Director of River Cruises at TUI River Cruises, stated that the summer of 2028 represents a major launch for the company, responding to high consumer demand for river cruising in highly sought-after locations.
