Tula de Allende reports 160 million pesos in public works investment

The Municipal Development Planning Committee (COPLADEM) held its third ordinary session in Tula de Allende to review infrastructure progress and municipal development. Municipal Secretary José Antonio Vargas, representing Mayor Cristhian Martínez, reported a historic investment of 160 million pesos in public works across municipal, state, and federal levels.

Mario Serrano, director of the Tula Water and Sewerage Commission (CAAPyAT), detailed that the agency is continuing to pay off a historical debt to the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) while maintaining uninterrupted electrical service. CAAPyAT has invested over 2.17 million pesos in hydraulic and sanitary infrastructure maintenance, supplemented by more than 21 million pesos in state funding.

Additionally, officials discussed the ongoing federal project for the Restoration and Sanitation of the Tula River. This collaborative effort between three levels of government focuses on four key areas: water quality, ecological degradation, governance, and monitoring.
