Tulang Bawang officials face investigation over 30 billion IDR BUMD funds

Authorities in Tulang Bawang are investigating allegations of corruption, collusion, and nepotism involving the management of over 30 billion IDR in regional government-owned enterprise (BUMD) funds. The Menggala District Attorney's Office has conducted searches related to the case.

Qudrotul Ihkwan, the former Acting Regent of Tulang Bawang in 2023 and current definitive Regent, has declined to provide detailed comments on the legal allegations. He stated that he respects the legal process and the work of the prosecutor's office, noting, “We will just follow the process carried out by the Kejari.”

Dicky Soerachman, the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) in Tulang Bawang, also stated that he has not been summoned by the Menggala District Attorney's Office for questioning regarding the suspected mismanagement of the BUMD funds.
