Tulip Licensing launches global digital imaging patent program

Tulip Licensing Ltd has launched Tulip Imaging, a new patent licensing program that provides access to over 125,000 patents. The portfolio covers foundational digital imaging and information processing technologies.

The patents are sourced from four major technology companies: Canon Inc., Sony Group Corporation, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd. These technologies support various visual experiences on modern devices, ranging from digital commerce to social interaction.

Through the program, implementers can access these portfolios and tailor licenses to meet specific product and business requirements. Representatives from Canon and Sony noted that the program aims to support continued investment in innovation through efficient and transparent intellectual property licensing.
