Tulja Bhavani religious celebrations held across Maharashtra

Various religious celebrations dedicated to the goddess Tulja Bhavani are taking place in Maharashtra during the Navratri festival.

In Trimurti Nagar, the Sant Shri Gajanan Maharaj Temple is hosting a 10-day festival from October 11 to 20. The event includes daily aarti ceremonies, devotional music performances by several bhajan groups, and the maintenance of an Akhand Manokamana Jyot. The festivities will conclude with Homahavan and Ghat Visarjan ceremonies.

In Vadyzire, a traditional procession of the Tulja Bhavani palanquin (palanquin) was welcomed with music and flower showers. This procession is part of a long-standing 50-day walking pilgrimage from Ghodegaon to Tuljapur. The local celebrations included a Maha Aarti, devotional songs, and the distribution of Mahaprasad to devotees.
