Tulkarm security officials pledge to combat criminal gangs

Palestinian Police Director General, Major General Allam al-Saqqa, has reaffirmed the security forces' commitment to eradicating criminal gangs and lawlessness in the Tulkarm Governorate. During a visit to the region, al-Saqqa met with local officials, municipal leaders, and community representatives to discuss maintaining public order and protecting citizens' property.

Al-Saqqa emphasized that upholding the rule of law is a national responsibility and that the security apparatus will not tolerate threats to civil peace. He noted that the police are actively pursuing criminals and those wanted by justice through coordination between various security components.

Additionally, the Director General stated that the police are prepared to secure upcoming elections to ensure a safe and smooth democratic process for citizens, despite the exceptional circumstances currently facing the region.
