Tully Smyth has revealed that she employed a calculated strategy during her time on The Traitors Australia, despite being perceived by viewers as a vulnerable and highly faithful player. Smyth disclosed that she identified the Traitors, including Kirby Bentley and Alex Nation, early in the game.

She utilized what she termed the ‘Traitor Angel’ strategy, which involves a Faithful secretly protecting a Traitor to advance their own game rather than attempting to banish them immediately. Smyth noted that she kept her knowledge private from other Faithfuls because she did not trust them with her specific game plan.

Reflecting on the production, Smyth noted that the filming process was significantly more intense than her experience on Big Brother. She highlighted the difficulty of playing a social game when the constant presence of cameras and the fast-paced schedule left little time for the deep personal bonding she typically relies on to build trust with other contestants.
