Sylvester Stallone returns as Dwight Manfredi, a former New York mafia capo attempting to legitimize his criminal empire in Oklahoma. The new season's plot involves Dwight facing corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a devastating personal loss. The narrative is expected to explore themes of loyalty, leadership, and the tension between his desire for legitimacy and his old street instincts.

Returning cast members include Martin Starr, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Frank Grillo, Kevin Pollak, and Neal McDonough. Gretchen Mol joins the series as a regular, playing the character Amanda Clark. The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, and Terence Winter, who also serves as head writer.
