Tulum expands international flights to Canada and the US

The Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum will expand its international connectivity during the 2026-2027 winter season. According to Mexico's Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, the expansion includes the return of seasonal operations to five key destinations in Canada and the United States.

Four airlines—Air Canada, Air Transat, WestJet, and United Airlines—will provide seven connection services, totaling up to 10 weekly frequencies. These routes are scheduled to begin operating in a staggered manner starting in the final quarter of 2026.

The new Canadian routes include flights to Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Quebec. The United States connectivity will feature service to Newark. These additions aim to strengthen Tulum's competitiveness and bring more visitors to the region's natural and archaeological sites.
