Tulum infrastructure works in La Veleta reach 25% completion

Infrastructure works in the La Veleta area of Tulum are currently 25% complete. The project involves the construction of curbs and sidewalks spanning four blocks, totaling 1,600 linear meters and 3,400 meters of sidewalks.

Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo supervised the progress, noting that the project was initiated following requests from local residents and merchants. The construction was scheduled to begin after the recent FIFA World Cup to minimize disruptions to the local community, businesses, and tourists. The improvements aim to enhance urban image, mobility, and commercial activity in this growing zone.
