Atilla Yıldırım arrested in Ankara drug and prostitution probe

Atilla Yıldırım, a businessman arrested as part of an investigation into drug use and prostitution in Ankara, is facing significant legal scrutiny. According to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, digital evidence from Yıldırım's phone includes WhatsApp messages with an account registered under the name of Yeni Parti leader Özgür Özel. The messages reportedly involve discussions regarding the secure delivery of a 'package' and arrangements for meetings involving luxury alcohol collections.

Financial investigations by MASAK have revealed substantial suspicious transactions. Yıldırım's accounts received approximately 3.95 million TL in 13 separate transactions from three individuals with existing narcotic criminal records. While Yıldırım has admitted to using cocaine once in Romania, he has denied all allegations of drug trafficking, claiming some transactions were related to business, debts, or rent.

Forensic analysis has provided further evidence, with hair samples from Yıldırım testing positive for cocaine and MDMB. The investigation continues as authorities examine digital materials and financial flows to determine the full extent of the alleged criminal network.
