Tunghai University announces 27th cohort of distinguished alumni
Tunghai University has announced its 27th cohort of distinguished alumni, selecting seven individuals for their significant contributions across academia, industry, arts, public governance, and international service.
Notable honorees include Song Hsin-wen, an Academician of the Academia Sinica, recognized for his research in biomedical materials and tissue engineering. Chien Hsueh-yi, a recipient of the National Literary Award in architecture, was also selected for his extensive work in Taiwanese architecture.
Other awardees include: - Yang Pin-huang, recognized for his contributions to the pharmaceutical and IT industries and his philanthropic support for education. - Chou Chih-hung, Vice President and Sustainability Officer at Delta Electronics, for his leadership in ESG and net-zero transitions. - Chang Feng-yuan, for his role in public governance and industrial policy in New Taipei City and Taichung. - Liu Shih-chuan, President of Taipei National University of the Arts, for his work in printmaking and arts education. - Chang Cheng-pang, for his long-term community service and strengthening Taiwan-US civilian exchanges in the United States.
The award ceremony is scheduled for October 31.
