Tunis prepares for Mouled 2026 and conducts urban clearing operations

The Municipality of Tunis, led by management official Sameh Daldoul, has initiated preparations for the 2026 Mouled celebrations. A working meeting held at the Kasbah municipal palace included municipal officials and a representative from the Ministry of Religious Affairs to coordinate logistics and organizational aspects of the religious event.

Key focus areas include the maintenance and landscaping of mosques and their surrounding areas to ensure adequate facilities for worshippers and visitors. The initiative aims to preserve the spiritual and cultural heritage of the festivities through enhanced inter-agency cooperation.

In a separate urban management effort, municipal services and the municipal police have intensified operations in the Centre Urbain Nord. Sanitary regulation agents are working to clear sidewalks of unauthorized installations and anarchic public space occupation to improve pedestrian circulation and maintain urban cleanliness.
