Tunis to host inaugural International Halal Forum

Tunis will host the inaugural International Halal Forum on September 29 and 30, 2026, at the Maison de l’Exportateur. Organized by the Global Business Network under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and Export Development, the event is coordinated with the Centre de promotion des exportations (Cepex).

The forum aims to bring together national, regional, and international stakeholders to explore the development of halal industries and products. Key focus areas include strengthening cooperation in standardization, certification, finance, and trade, while promoting economic exchanges between actors in Africa, the Gulf countries, Asia, and Europe.

Participants will engage in plenary sessions, specialized roundtables, technical workshops, and business networking meetings. An exhibition space will also be available to showcase halal products and solutions intended for international markets, facilitating investment opportunities and commercial partnerships.
