Tunisia Africa Business Council leads economic mission to Guinea

The Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) is organizing a multisectoral economic mission to the Republic of Guinea from October 6 to 11, 2026. The delegation will consist of 30 Tunisian business leaders representing various strategic sectors, including infrastructure, construction, energy, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, tourism, and technology.

The mission aims to strengthen economic ties between Tunisia and Guinea by fostering investment opportunities and joint projects. A central focus of the mission is the Simandou 2040 initiative, which drives Guinea’s large-scale economic, industrial, and infrastructural development programs. The program includes high-level institutional meetings, B2B and B2G sessions, and targeted networking in Conakry to identify complementary business interests.

Separately, in Tunisia, American companies are exploring new commercial opportunities within the maritime sector. During the Seaports Days held in Tunis, U.S. firms specializing in maritime infrastructure, port security, operational technologies, and cybersecurity met with Tunisian transport and infrastructure officials to discuss developing efficient and secure port connections.
