Tunisia Africa Business Council leads economic mission to Guinea
The Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) led a multisectoral economic mission to Conakry, Guinea, from October 6 to 11, 2026. The delegation included 30 Tunisian companies and members of the Tunisia Consortium for African Development (Tucad), representing sectors such as infrastructure, energy, health, and information technology.
The mission resulted in the launch of the Tunisia-Guinea Business Council and included participation in the third Forum for Inclusive Growth in Africa (Focia). Key objectives included establishing partnerships to support Guinea’s development priorities, specifically the Simandou 2040 Program. During the mission, Tunisian representatives held B2B and B2G meetings with Guinean officials, including the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and SMEs, and the Minister of Infrastructure, to explore industrial cooperation and engineering expertise.
Additionally, the TABC has announced a professional training session scheduled for October 29, 2026, in Tunis. The workshop, titled ‘Mastering and Mapping Your Operational Risks – ISO 31000’, will be led by specialist Hakim Cherif and focuses on risk identification, evaluation, and governance integration.
