Tunisia and Pakistan Open Registrations for Hajj 2027 Pilgrimage

Tunisia's Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that online registration for the Hajj pilgrimage scheduled for 2027 will open on 20 July and remain available until 20 August 2026. Applicants must register through the ministry’s electronic platform, provide a national ID copy and a personal email address, and later verify their files with local delegations. The official cost was set at 20,930 Tunisian dinars per pilgrim, and the quota allocated to Tunisia by Saudi Arabia stands at 10,982 pilgrims. The ministry also invited volunteers to assist pilgrims, with applications accepted until 31 July.

In Pakistan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs reported that more than 340,000 people have registered online for Hajj seasons covering 2027 to 2030 under a newly approved four‑year registration scheme. Approximately 246,000 registrants chose the government‑run Hajj program, while about 94,000 opted for the private scheme. Punjab province recorded the highest provincial participation with around 156,000 applicants. The new policy allows a one‑time registration valid for any Hajj season within the 2027‑2030 window, and authorities urged users to employ the Pak Hajj App and official helplines for assistance.
