Tunisia approves graphic charter for ‘Made in Tunisia’ national brand

Tunisia is launching a new national brand, ‘Made in Tunisia’, to identify domestic products, strengthen consumer confidence, and facilitate promotion in international markets. During a meeting on October 20, 2026, the project's steering committee approved the brand's graphic charter.

The initiative focuses on four priority industrial sectors in its initial phase: mechanical and electrical industries, textiles and clothing, leather and footwear, and agri-food industries. Companies within these sectors will receive an accompaniment program to help them meet the necessary quality criteria and standards required to obtain the label.

Presided over by Salah Zouari, the minister in charge of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, the meeting included representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Export Development, the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX), the National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI), and the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII). The long-term goal is to expand the label to all industrial sectors to enhance the global competitiveness and visibility of Tunisian expertise.
