Tunisia Boosts Cooperation with Italy, France, Germany on Innovation and Finance
The second session of the “Innovation Talks” took place at Startup Village Menzah in Tunis, organized jointly by Terna and the Italian Embassy. The event, attended by Italian Ambassador Alessandro Prunas, featured a fireside chat between Tunisian startup ProVerdy and Italian startup Koalisation and focused on sustainability, aiming to create new partnerships between the Italian and Tunisian startup ecosystems.
Separately, Tunisia signed a trilateral agreement with France and Germany to strengthen financial inclusion. The protocol, concluded by the Observatory of Financial Inclusion, GIZ Tunisia and the French Development Agency (AFD) and co‑financed by the EU, targets the expansion of digital payment services, training for micro‑entrepreneurs, and a second national survey on financial inclusion, supporting a more sustainable and digitalised economy.
