Tunisia calls for vocational training reform and modernization
Tunisian Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Riadh Chaoud, has called for a comprehensive overhaul of vocational training programs. During the closing of a trainer training session focused on pedagogical engineering, Chaoud emphasized the need to modernize the sector through technological updates, including the integration of distance learning and artificial intelligence.
The initiative is part of the ‘Partnership for Professional Mobility’ (PAR MOB) project, which aims to enhance the skills of trainers in collaboration with the French Agency for Adult Training (AFPA). This project is scheduled to continue until 2028, focusing on developing a new generation of graduates capable of successful economic and social integration into the labor market.
