Tunisia graduate unemployment reaches 26.6%
In Tunisia, the challenge of graduate employability is intensifying as academic qualifications alone no longer guarantee employment. According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), 26.6% of higher education graduates were unemployed during the second quarter of the year.
Recruiters are increasingly looking for candidates who can demonstrate practical skills and adapt to a changing market. Wafa Laâmiri, CEO of Crit Tunisie, suggests that graduates can leverage new tools, such as artificial intelligence, to enhance their skill sets and better meet corporate expectations.
