Tunisia launches Khadamet mobile app for digital administrative services
The Ministry of Communication Technologies has launched the first version of 'Khadamet', a national mobile application designed to centralize digital administrative services. The app allows citizens to access various government services 24/7 using their digital identity for secure authentication.
Key features include the ability to view and update personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses, and residential addresses. The application also provides access to critical documents, including driver's licenses and vehicle registration (carte grise), and sends notifications regarding upcoming expirations.
In terms of social and fiscal services, the app integrates functions from the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) for medical reimbursement tracking and the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) for professional career and declaration monitoring. Users can also manage fiscal tasks like purchasing travel stamps and paying circulation taxes. Additionally, the platform supports road safety services, such as checking traffic violations and scheduling technical vehicle inspections, as well as submitting and tracking various administrative requests and extracting electronic civil status documents.
