Tunisia Ministry of Education completes textbook printing

The Tunisian Ministry of Education has announced the completion of textbook printing for the 2026-2027 school year. According to supply tracking data released on September 17, 2026, the printing rate has reached 100 percent.

Distribution to regional sections is currently at 96 percent, while the sales rate has reached 94 percent. The National Pedagogical Center reported the publication of 314 different textbooks, totaling 15.6 million copies. This includes 206 titles for students (15.5 million copies), 93 titles for teachers (55,000 copies), and 15 titles for the children of Tunisians living abroad (approximately 26,200 copies).

To assist families, the Ministry has launched a new digital service called ‘I am looking for a book’. Available via a mobile application and the National Pedagogical Center website, the tool allows parents and students to locate specific books at various bookstores by searching through governorates and delegations.
