Tunisia national football team to return to Sfax after 30 years
The Taïeb Mhiri Stadium in Sfax is set to host an international football match for the Tunisian national team on November 13. This marks the first time the venue has hosted such an event in over three decades.
The match, which is part of the third round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, will see Tunisia face Libya. To facilitate the event, the stadium has successfully obtained Category 3 certification from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Local municipal authorities are currently coordinating logistics, including stadium surroundings maintenance, public lighting improvements, and coordination with the Sfax-Thyna airport to manage the arrival of delegations.
