Tunisia seeks Preferential Trade Agreement with Pakistan
Tunisia’s Chargé d’Affaires, Dorsaf Maaroufi, has indicated that a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Tunisia and Pakistan aims to expand trade and commercial activities between the two nations.
Speaking at a farewell reception hosted by the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Maaroufi emphasized the need to strengthen economic relations and noted that efforts are underway to increase bilateral trade. She highlighted a 2025 visit by an ICCI business delegation to Tunisia, which included participation in the International Coffee Festival and the signing of agreements with various chambers of commerce, as a significant milestone for bilateral cooperation.
