Ligue 1: Lille and Espérance de Tunis claim top spots

In the Tunisian Ligue 1, Espérance de Tunis took sole command of the standings following a 3-1 victory over Olympique de Béja, highlighted by a hat-trick from Hazem Mastouri. In the Sfaxian derby, PS Sakiet Eddaier secured a 1-0 win against CS Sfaxien to maintain second place. Meanwhile, defending champions Club Africain suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 2-1 to US Ben Guerdane after a late stoppage-time goal by Wael Salhi.

In the French Ligue 1, LOSC Lille secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Le Havre. Dilane Bakwa scored in the 5th minute to give Lille the lead. Despite Le Havre dominating much of the match with 17 shots compared to Lille's 5, the match turned when Le Havre's Ayumu Seko was sent off in the 61st minute. The win moves Lille temporarily to the top of the standings, though the match was noted for its low tempo following an injury to Lille's Tiago Santos.
