Tunisian Olympic President Mehrez Boussayene conducts sports diplomacy in Japan

Mehrez Boussayene, a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and President of the Tunisian National Olympic Committee (CNOT), conducted an official visit to Japan to strengthen Tunisian sports diplomacy.

Attending the 20th edition of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, Boussayene engaged in high-level meetings with various international sports leaders. His discussions included ministers and sports officials from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia. Additionally, he met with key figures such as Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, and Mustapha Berraf, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ACNOA).

These diplomatic efforts aim to consolidate international cooperation and reinforce Tunisia's position within the global Olympic movement.
