Tunisian regulator refers UADH financial leak to prosecutor

The Tunisian Financial Market Council (CMF) is taking legal action following the unauthorized leak of financial statements belonging to the listed company Universal Auto Distributors Holding (UADH). The CMF reported that the documents were circulated on the InfoBourse TN page before official publication and before the regulator had completed its preliminary review.

The CMF considers this a potential criminal offense under Tunisian financial market laws, as the premature disclosure could provide certain investors with an unfair advantage. The regulator has requested that the public prosecutor at the Court of First Instance of Tunis investigate the circumstances to determine responsibility.

In response, UADH stated that it had provided the financial statements to its shareholders in accordance with legal requirements for the upcoming Ordinary General Meeting. The company claimed it was unaware of how the documents were made public before the official date.
