Tunisian tech ecosystem expands reach through Saudi and UK engagements
Tunisian technology companies are expanding their regional presence through strategic international engagements. At the LEAP 2026 international trade show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a Tunisian delegation is showcasing expertise in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, robotics, and Industry 4.0 solutions. Supported by the Tunisian Export Promotion Centre (Cepex), the mission aims to use Saudi Arabia as a gateway to the broader Gulf Cooperation Council markets.
Simultaneously, Tunisia is strengthening ties with the United Kingdom. A high-level British delegation is scheduled to visit Tunisia on September 17, 2026, to engage with the local innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Organized in coordination with the Confederation of Tunisian Citizen Enterprises (CONECT), the visit includes a training session for startups at the British Ambassador's residence. The delegation, featuring investment and entrepreneurship experts, seeks to facilitate connections between Tunisian founders and the British market.
